    Monday,  March 11th
    Reporter: T. Strange
    Surf Report comments:
7:40 am: Chilly at the beach this morning.   Wave height @ 1 foot, to occasionally up to 2 feet.  The wind is N @ 8-13 knots causing semi-choppy to choppy surface conditions.   Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 4.6 feet at 5 seconds, up in size and down in duration from yesterdays  3.3 feet at 12 seconds.      The marine forecast is predicting moderate NE winds today.  The water temperature is measured at 63.5 degrees at The Pier this morning.   See the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
8:05 am:  Early morning photos are up and you can see it’s choppy with a new N Swell Swell trying to start up.       Small overall but there are some knee to thigh high choppy peaks from the north pushing down the beach at times.    Bumpy and drifty from the north with a quite chilly wind on top.  Some sun, actually plenty of sun, but overall the chill is winning early on this Monday morning….
