    Monday,  March 18th
    Reporter: T. Strange
    Surf Report comments:
7:15 am: Very small surf starting the day today.    Wave height early looks maybe shin high on set waves.  It is breaking very shallow and close to shore.   The wind is light SW allowing for mostly glassy surface conditions early early.  Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 1.0 feet at 6 seconds, down from yesterdays 1.3 feet at 4 seconds.      The marine forecast is predicting NW winds today, picking up tomorrow with a strong front moving in.  The water temperature is measured at 65.5 degrees at The Pier this morning.   See the ocean live by viewing The Surf Station Cam Page here.
8:05 am:  Early morning photos are up and posted and you can see we have super small waves for your Monday.    Super small overall with shin high glassy waves.  Can you really call them waves?  They are slightly bigger than a ripple so maybe so.    Big weather changes ahead with colder air on the way…
