Surf Report comments:
7:45 am: Chilly at the beach early this morning. Wave height @ 1 foot, to occasionally up to 2 feet. The wind is E @ 3-4 knots allowing for semi-glassy surface conditions. Our local buoy the early wave height reading is 3.3 feet at 15 seconds down in size from yesterdays 4.6 feet at 5 seconds. The marine forecast is predicting SW then SE winds today. 8:25 am: Early morning photos are up and posted and you can see we still have waves for your Tuesday. It’s glassy to semi-glassy early this morning with the wind very light and variable. Ther is some small! some thigh high waves, occasionally a little bigger. The way spread out 13-15 second swell interval readings on the buoy offshore makes for a thicker wave, so although the waves are spread out and may be less consistent, when they do come, they will have power. A light seabreeze is expected this afternoon, so the mornings surf will be best with the glassy conditions….
