12:45 pm: There’s still some size out there for your midday report, with changing conditions as rain storms move in throughout the day. The waves look to be in the 2 to 3 foot range, with okay conditions as our local winds blowing out of the NNW @ 13 knots. There’s more texture and drift than early this morning thanks to those onshore winds. The waves are in the thigh to waist high or so range, looking pretty disorganized at report time. There’s still swell in the water with our local buoy currently reading 3.9 feet @ 11 seconds, but I would say your best bet is to keep your eyes peeled for the wind to possibly switch lighter if we have another rain storm push through this afternoon.
