Pick the right fins for your "Small Wave Performance Boards"
by Noel Salas Ep2
In this episode I talk about picking the right fin template for your Small Wave Performance Surfboards. (SWPB) I first define (SWPB) category that most of the major board brands are making.
I try to separate the SWPB category from the Groveler, Daily Driver and HPSB categories. Picking the right fin for what you want to achieve as a surfer in each board category can be easier just by identifying fin template, wave type, and your skill level. We hope this episode helps you find what you are looking for in a set of fins for the way you want to surf on your Small Wave Performance Board.

In this review I test out two boards, one stock 5'5" and one custom 5'5". The Miscellaneous is designed for a 2+1 fin set up which uses Twin Fin sides with a small center trailing fin. The large Twin Fins give this board incredible speed and the small trailing fin offers hold and something to pivot off of.
