Bahne 8'6 x 23 x 3 Collector's Surfboard Available Now at the Surf Station!
This board is from legendary shaper, Bill Bahne. Bahne began shaping surfboards back in the 1950's and had a thriving business with Bahne Surfboards by the 1960's. Bahne's extensive knowledge of fluid dynamics and design led him to work in removable surfboard fin design, as well as skateboard and snowboard design. In 1967 he established Fins Unlimited, his surfboard fin manufacturing company that revolutionized the removable fin. For the last 40 years, Bahne's name is synonymous with innovation in the action sports industry.
This particular board is in good used condition considering its age. This board is likely from the 1960's transition era, when surfboard design moved from longboards to shorter, more maneuverable designs. There are some dimples on the board both on the deck and bottom, but no major repairs. This board is a single fin, with a 10" raked fin included.
**This board is too large to ship via standard carriers such as FedEx or UPS. An LTL Freight carrier will be needed to transport this surfboard. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested in a quote.**
