About the Neilson Vee Bottom Surfboard: This is not a beginners longboard. This longboard is designed and made for an experienced longboarder who wants a classic shape that can also turn and move and is responsive under ones feet. To the experienced surfer this board really opens up what you can do, allowing you to play with a wave in new and creative ways. Not designed to be a nose rider yet somehow it still nose rides quite well, paddles incredibly good and for me is just a blast to ride. This board is inspired by Saxon Wilson by his personal riding ability and was shaped with his direct input in the shaping bay. This board represents what today is a rarity: a non computer generated, truly organic, creation. Made with genuine hands on (feet too!) collaboration between surfer and shaper creating the “Vee Model.” As a result Saxon and I are super stoked to share a proven model that literally rides so good that one good session (or even a handful of waves) on this board convinces you that it is a must have shape in your quiver. Life and surfing is meant to be enjoyed!
