The Hobie 7'2 Collector Surfboard was shaped by iconic surfboard builder Hobie Alter. Hobie began his iconic surfboard shaping career back in 1950 in Laguna Beach, CA. After honing his skills, he opened the first surf shop in Southern California in 1954 on Dana Point along the Pacific Coast Highway. From here, Hobie created surfboards for some of the world's best, including Phil Edwards, Micky Munoz, Dick Brewer and more.
This particular board is in fair used shape for its age, but could use some refurbishment work.
