Matt Biolos Description: The Lib Tech Surfboards Lost Puddle Jumper is a con-caved, planing surfacer speeder. Domestic bliss with a twist. Based off the outline of the Bottom Feeder, but with reversed bottom and rocker curves. This board, unlike the past Domestic models (like The Bottom Feeder and RV) features a concave bottom that transitions to vee in the tail. The wide outline makes for easy wave catching and down the line glide and stability. The concave bottom adds lift and increased rail curve, which allows radical top to bottom surfing. The straight rail line and vee in the tail keep the board moving forward and hold in during hard carving maneuvers. “This is the most excited I have ever been about a small wave surfboard. Personally, it’s the best small wave board I have ever ridden. I have never made a claim like that about any board before” - Matt Biolos LibTech Technology & Construction:http://www.lib-tech.com/surfboards/puddle-jumper/#technologyWhat's all the Buzz about? Basically a must have in any surfer's quiver. This board makes even the most undesirable days downright fun! For an east coaster like me I find myself riding this board more days than not. It simply catches waves easier and flies faster than any small wave model I've had. This board has all the aspects of a mushy small wave groveler but still packs in plenty of performance. The great thing about this board is once you buy one you're set. The LibTech technology makes these boards incredibly durable and will last you years over a standard poly or epoxy.
Conclusion: Get this board now, you'll be glad you did! It's user friendly, a wave hog, fast and fishy, and will last for years. That should be all you need to know! Check out the video's below on the Puddle Jumper!
Hi guys. Decided upon this board – lib tech puddle jumper HP.
Need a quick answer RE sizing. I’m 27yo, 170lb, 5’9’’, previously fairly decent surfer but had a period of 5-10 years without much surfing. Getting back into it and want one board i can surf in most conditions and travel to portugal and possibly indonesia with. Will upgrade to a more performance board if I get good enough to justify it. I live in the north east so can surf up here when weather allows. Current board is a hand me down mod fish 6’ 6 which probably has too much volume and steers like a boat. Can catch most medium waves on it, turn both ways, some slow cut backs.
Should i be getting the 5’ 8 or the 5’ 10?
My alternative thought was the 5’ 7 original puddle jumper?

Open to other board suggestions if you have any.
