This is a single owner Dale Velzy signed custom hand shaped 9'8 model with certificate of authenticity. Serial number 7923 shaped in 1997 (see certificate picture).
Featuring T-band redwood and balsa stringer with matching tail block and 10” handmade matching fin. Beautiful double red and black pinstripe with ivory pigmented rails. Glassed by Tony Channin with old school Volan cloth providing a classic yellow-green tint. It has an 8 oz deck patch cloth and 6 oz bottom cloth.
There are a few minor pressures, stress marks and scuffs in the polish if you look at the right angle. Overall, this is a very clean and well cared for Velzy.
Please note: This board is too large to ship via standard carriers such as FedEx or UPS. An LTL Freight carrier will be needed to transport this surfboard. Please email support@surf-station.com if interested in a quote.**
